Ngee Ann Poly says it has found students who peed on boys in video

Ngee Ann Polytechnic said it will take disciplinary action against students who urinated on two students.
The school said today it has identified the senior students involved in the tape that has been grossing Singaporeans out since it emerged online and would offer counseling to them as well.
“We are conducting an internal disciplinary inquiry and will take appropriate disciplinary action on students found to be in breach of our Student Code of Conduct,” school spokesperson Sangeetha Naidu told Coconuts today.
The school said the activity was not part of its freshmen orientation program.
Police told The Straits Times today that they were alerted to the minute-long clip last night and were investigating the location where Ngee Ann Polytechnic is. It was unclear when the video was filmed or how it ended up being leaked online.
Police declined to comment when contacted by Coconuts today.
In the video, two naked boys squat on the floor facing the wall of what appears to be a bathroom while several others take turns peeing on them. People shouting off camera suggested the urinators peed on the boys’ hair as well.
“Eh I want you all to empty your vessels ah!” a voice is heard shouting, followed by “no showering!” when one of the victims turns on one of the showers.
Soon after the video went viral, screenshots of an Instagram story evidently published by one of the peed-upon boys described the incident as part of “mindless fun” and not an act of bullying.
“[F]irst thing I would like to clarify is that, yes, I am the one who got peed on, yes. But the comments section being the comments section really went ham on the imagination! I saw things like, they are bullying??? Nah bro, I was cool with it, just mindless fun to me!” the post said.
Singapore’s Protection from Harassment Act covers behavior that causes alarm and distress to victims and carries a maximum penalty of a S$5,000 fine and six months’ jail time.
Ngee Ann Poly
