The activity theme of this section is "appreciate different forms of English Poems". This section mainly allows students to understand several simple forms of English poems and learn representative related poems.Activity 1 sets up two questions for students to think and discuss before reading. Activity 2 requires students to read the text, find out the characteristics of several different forms of poetry. The focus of activity 2 is to guide students to grasp the essential characteristics of poetry. Activity 3 ask students to read the text and feel the beauty of the rhyme and rhythm of poetry.
Teaching aims:
Knowledge objectives:To use the words and idioms of this period correctly.
To know some simple English poetry forms and learn some representative poems.
Skill objectives:Be able to observe and master the text structure characteristics of the text.
Emotional objectives:Grasp the essential characteristics of poetry and make a detailed analysis of each poem, such as the theme, image, rhythm, rhythm, rhetorical devices, etc.
Thinking quality objectives:To be able to analyze poetry works and express their feelings about poetry.
Teaching key points:
How to sort out and summarize the names, characteristics and relevant poems of several forms of poetry.
